[7/24] Tokyo University of Foreign Studies Student Exchange Meeting
On Wednesday, July 24, ten students from Tokyo University of Foreign Studies visited the Institute for Japanese Studies at Seoul National University. Professor Nam Kijeong from the Institute for Japanese Studies delivered a lecture titled "Long Journey to the Reconciliation between Korea and Japan," and Professor Kim Hyojin lectured on "Recent Debates on Boys Love in Korea: 'Leaving BL' in the Age of Feminism." During the Q&A sessions, students from the 12th cohort of Junior Fellows at the Institute for Japanese Studies and students from Tokyo University of Foreign Studies exchanged opinions on Korea-Japan relations, education in each country, the efforts of the younger generation, and cultural aspects of both nations. Following the lectures, the students had lunch together at the student center and then enjoyed a campus tour.
