Hakbong Korea-Japan Journalism Award

Journalism from the Field, Solidarity for the Future

The Hakbong Korea-Japan Journalism Award is an annual award in the press reporting division of the Hakbong Award and nominates outstanding reporting related to Korea-Japan relations.

The Hakbong Award, created to honor the philosophy and ideology of the late Hakbong Lee Ki-hak (1928–2012), selects award winners once a year and carries forward his commitment to a society without discrimination, equality of opportunity, and human dignity above all else.

Please submit recommendations for journalism that connects Korea and Japan to the Institute for Japanese Studies at Seoul National University.
