East Asian Journal of Japanese Studies

East Asian Journal of Japanese Studies (東アジア日本研究) is a new international academic journal jointly published by the Institute for Japanese Studies at Seoul National University and the East Asian Consortium of Japanese Studies. The journal aims to promote scholarly communication and exchange among Japan specialists across East Asia, transcending regional and disciplinary boundaries. It also seeks to foster the development of new research agendas and contribute to the continued advancement of Japanese Studies. The journal accepts submissions in Japanese and English and is published annually, beginning with its inaugural issue in October 2025.
