The Korea–Japan Future Seminar series is organized by the Institute for Japanese Studies at Seoul National University (SNU-IJS) with support from the Hakbong Scholarship Foundation. The seminar invites experts, researchers, and practitioners from both countries across diverse fields to explore common challenges facing Korea and Japan through multidimensional analysis and dialogue. Through this initiative, SNU-IJS seeks to build a network of professionals dedicated to fostering cooperation, coexistence, and shared prosperity between the two nations.
The sixth session of the Korea-Japan Future Seminar series will feature Professor , Project Professor at the Graduate School of Agricultural and Life Sciences, The University of Tokyo, who will deliver a lecture titled “Reflecting on Recovery from the Nuclear Disaster: The Case of Iitate Village, Fukushima Prefecture.”
