Korea-Japan Citizen Diplomacy Youth Forum
“Youth Cooperation for a Sustainable Planet”
The Institute for Japanese Studies (IJS) at Seoul National University, together with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, is hosting the Korea-Japan Citizen Diplomacy Youth Forum from Friday, November 21 to Saturday, November 22, 2025, in Seoul.
The forum was organized to commemorate the 60th anniversary of Korea–Japan normalization, and aims to gather young people from both countries under the theme “Youth Cooperation for a Sustainable Planet.” Participants will have opportunities to deepen mutual understanding and explore visions for future cooperation.
The forum aspires to serve as a platform for dialogue and collaboration, encouraging participants to reflect on the future of sustainable Korea–Japan relations and to envision their role within a broader Asian and global community. We look forward to your active interest and applications.

- Participants: University and graduate students in Korea, and Japanese students studying in Korea (including exchange students)
