The 20th NRF (National Research Foundation of Korea) Humanities Week Event:

Book Talk on the 1st Anniversary of the Japanese Translation of Land (T’oji) — Korea–Japan Cultural Exchange through Books

The Institute for Japanese Studies (IJS) at Seoul National University is hosting a special book talk to mark the first anniversary of the complete Japanese translation of Park Kyung-ni’s epic novel Land (T’oji).

As part of the 20th NRF Humanities Week, this event invites the translator to share insights under the theme “Korea–Japan Cultural Exchange through Books,” and explores the journey of Land and the significance of literary exchange between the two countries.

We warmly welcome all participants to join us in walking the path of Land from a story of home to a bridge of culture.
