Title: Challenges of Disaster Response and Reconstruction in Aging and Population-declining Areas: Consideration From the Site of the Noto Peninsula Earthquake Disaster-stricken Areas 

 (高齢化・人口減少地域における災害対応と復興の課題: 能登半島地震の被災地の現場から考える)

 

Presenter  : Professor Yoshiyuki Yama (山泰幸), Director of Institute of Disaster Area Revitalization, Regrowth and Governance,  Kwansei Gakuin University 

 

From the beginning of the new year in 2024, there have been many disasters and disaster-related news due to abnormal climate around the world, along with earthquakes on the Noto Peninsula in Japan.Responding to disaster disasters is becoming an urgent research task that will be examined from various angles.

In response, the Japan Research Institute of Seoul National University will hold a diagnostic seminar under the theme of "Challenges of Disaster Response and Reconstruction in Aging and Population-declining Areas: Consideration From the Site of the Noto Peninsula Earthquake Disaster-stricken Areas.” A lecture by Professor Yoshiyuki Yama, Director of Institute of Disaster Area Revitalization, Regrowth and Governance,  Kwansei Gakuin University , and a local video by director Lee Hong-ki.
