강연자는 오에 겐자부로와 함께 현대 일본문학계의 가장 영향력 있는 작가로 손꼽히고 있으며 헌법개정을 반대하는 지식인 모임인 <9조회>의 발기인으로 활약하고 있는 이노우에 히사시(井上ひさし) 선생이다. 이번 강연회에서 이노우에 선생은 '평화헌법과 시민사회'라는 제목하에 <9조회>의 활동체험을 중심으로 <9조회>가 전후 지속적으로 탈정치화의 노선을 걸어왔던 일본의 시민사회에 미친 영향과 앞으로의 전망에 관해 이야기하였다.
