The Institute for Japanese Studies at Seoul National University invites scholars from Korea, Japan, Europe, and the United States to discuss issues related to Japanese politics, economics, society, culture, and arts. The seminars are held in Japanese, Korean, and English.

In the 180th Japan Specialist Seminar, we invite Mr. Kunio Suzuki (鈴木邦男), a political critic and founder of the neo-right wing organization, Issukai (First Wednesday Group). Mr. Suzuki does not hesitate to criticize Zaitokukai (Association of Citizens against the Special Privileges of the Zainichi) hate-speech demonstrations.

This is an opportunity to hear the opinion of Japan's neo-right wing organization leader who criticizes chauvinist movements in Japan and to inquire on Japanese right-wing groups, neo-right groups, and net-right groups.

Please join us to discuss and share concerns on Japan's right-wing movement.

Thank you.
