Summary
IJS held a meeting between the Democratic Party of Japan (DPJ) congressmen and students upon the visitors' request. This is understood as part of DPJ's effort to resolve the declining ROK-Japan relations. DPJ congressmen asked how Korea's youngsters view ROK-Japan relations and what they want from Japan. Participants included 10 students from GSIS graduate students of Japan Table (weekly discussion group), Junior Fellows of IJS, and students who have participated in the SNU in Tokyo program. Although we have not made conclusions as to resolve the ROK-Japan relation, we were able to feel the DPJ's eagerness to resolve the bilateral relation.
