Research Activities

Institute for Japanese Studies provides financial support for humanistic and social scientific Japan-related researches, through which we strengthen the foundation of the synthetic and systematic research. We hope that this opportunity may lead to the nurturing of the inner specialists for the Japanese Studies at SNU. Also, we provide support for the collaborative researches as well as academic exchanges among the specialists of the Japanese Studies. Director positions for collaborative researches are limited to SNU affiliated scholars, however, for positions for researchers, any scholars are welcome to join.
