IJS supports Japan-related research in the field of humanities and social sciences and thereby contributes to the enhancement of professional competency of Japanese studies at SNU. In the spirit of supporting collaborative research and scholarly exchanges with research inside and outside Korea, IJS holds Japanese Studies Support Project as below. Anyone interested in Japan and has done Japan-related research in the field of humanities and social science are welcome to apply.

1. Type : Individual Research / Joint Research (as a group of 5)

2. Research Fund : Individual Research 5,000,000 KRW per research / Joint Research 25,000,000 KRW per research

3. Research Duration : December 1, 2019 ~ November 30, 2020

4. Application Period : October 16, 2019 ~ November 11, 2019

5. Research Domain : Japan-related research in the field of humanities and social sciences
